The New Orleans Jazz Orchestra will celebrate its 10th Anniversary with a special concert at the legendary Tipitina’s nightclub on Friday, September 15th. Led by Trumpeter and Artistic Director, Irwin Mayfield, the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra were the winners of a grammy award in 2009 for their recording “Book One.” To celebrate their 10th Anniversary, the group will be doing a series of special performances, including a tribute to Ray Charles. Joining the orchestra at Tipitina’s will soul diva Ledisi, who recently performed at the 2012 Essence Music Festival.
