We were just discussing last night the lack of live music at the various St. Patrick Day celebrations taking place all over the city today.  Then I discovered that the wonderful swing guitarist St. Louis Slim will be playing from 5-9 PM this evening for a block party at the start of the downtown marching club.  They will be set up outside Markey’s Bar at the corner of Piety and Dauphine in the Bywater.
