This evening, March 19, 2010, brassy funk will meet fishhead music at the Mid City Lanes Rock ‘n’ Bowl.  The double bill features Bonerama opening at 9:30 PM.  They will perform one set and the Radiators will follow with an hour and half set beginning at 11:15 PM.  Over the years, the two bands, particularly the front line trombones, have collaborated.  The photo features Bonerama’s Mark Mullins and the Radiators’ Dave Malone jamming together.  One memorable Jazz Fest set by the Rads had all the trombones on stage for much of the performance.  I expect more of the same tonight.
