French “Ben Harper” Headlines Fête Française


This afterrnoon head over to 821 General Pershing St. for the annual benefit festival for le Ecole Bilingue.  There’s music, food and fun and games for kids of all ages.  Wazozo performs at 1 PM.  Feufollet follows at 3 PM and the headliner performs at 5 PM.

Tété is a platinum-selling star who plays contemporary French soul and has been called the “French Ben Harper.” Heralded as a brilliant guitarist and extraordinary poet, Tété signed a music which combines pop-folk-bluesy rhythms, acoustic moods and nicely subversive texts. His songs are about universal subjects such as love, modesty, ego, and solitude.
