Saturday, September, 11, 2010- Tonight at Tipitina’s one of the most promising of the young bands on the scene team up with the veterans in a show that is bound to be mind-blowing on many levels.  Gravity A will have a few special guests including the wonderfully explosive saxophonist Tim Green.  They will close out the evening after a set by the original members of the Trio- Johnny Vidacovich, George Porter, Jr. and June Yamagishi.  I expect fireworks from both bands and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a bit of mixing and matching between the groups.
