Alejandro Escovedo to Play the Parish

Monday- September 13, 2010- This evening the Parish at the House of Blues is the place to be as the roots rocker plays his first show in New Orleans since last year’s Voodoo Music Experience.  For his encore in City Park, the band tore the head off of the classic, “All the Young Dudes.”  Escovedo’s latest ensemble is dubbed the Sensitive Boys and they are touring in support of his great new album, Street Songs of Love.  The last time he played at the Parish, his band featured cello and violin and was decidedly  low key as the singer emphasized the songs.  Tonight, they will rock.
