Saturday- September 18. 2010- In an ongoing effort to provide information about bands with unusual names, I introduce Uncle Daddy.  Phil DeGruy is the uncle and Cranston Clements is the daddy.  The two guitarists perform together in a variety of acts; the most famous being Twangorama.  This time they are bringing the kids.  Cranston’s sons are musical prodigies; Austin plays bass and Tyler plays drums.  It should be an interesting show mainly because when Phil and Cranston get on stage together, the humor is more than half the fun.  I’m curious whether the youngsters will laugh at the oldsters’ jokes.  Phil provided the above photo, which was captioned, “the City of New Orleans.”
