Friday- October 15, 2010- I met a chap from Liverpool who loves New Orleans music with a passion seldom seen during the Satchmo SummerFest this past August.  We connected for beers on Friday afternoon, at a seminar with Kermit Ruffins on Saturday and finally did an interview on a relatively quiet block of Frenchmen Street after the second line parade on Sunday.  It was a good experience for me since I am usually the one asking the questions.  When he returned to England, he told me that the interview has been broken into two and will be broadcast with accompanying music and commentary in two parts.  The first half airs tomorrow, Saturday, October 16, 2010 and the second airs next week.  You can listen live at 2 PM Central Standard Time at http://www.jazzfm.com.  The station will also have the show archived for a week.
