Soul Singer extraordinaire Nicole Slack Jones has returned to New Orleans after a highly successful tour of Europe. Nicole Slack Jones and the Soul Sisters performed at festivals and events in Paris, France and Morocco. Nicole sent the European crowds into a frenzy with her tribute to soul divas, Aretha Franklin and Chaka Khan. Nicole Slack Jones has now returned to New Orleans to start work on his first solo recording. Nicole says she plans to get back to the roots of soul on this record and is putting together a group of new originals she composed recently. Nicole was recently spotted at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, providing powerful vocals for the Big Easy Groovers. Nicole brought the crowd to their feet with amazing renditions of Aretha Franklin’s “Rock Steady” and Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody.” Make sure to keep a look out for Nicole’s new record!
