This evening, upstairs at the Blue Nile, trombonist Jeff Albert will present two exciting new musical ventures.  Set 1 will feature an improvised trio with Jesse Morrow on bass and Justin Peake on drums.  The second set is a group called Root 25, which includes Ray Moore on alto sax, Tim Sullivan on tenor and baritone saxes, Jesse Morrow on bass and Doug Garrison on drums.  The band will be playing all original music, most of which was freshly written for the group.  The music is more composition oriented than the Quartet’s material.  The show begins at 10 PM promptly.
